Responsibilities
In case management include, but not limited to:
* Strategic Excellence
* Detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case
* Setting the case strategy on files, ensuring adherence to any KYO or generic strategies that may be put in place by Lead Lawyer and Technical Leads
* Adhering to all work type process stages
* Identifying strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases when appropriate
* Identifying client trends and any opportunities to raise profile with clients

* Running files in accordance with agreed client guidelines
* Ensuring maximum client satisfaction on each case
* Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all client and internal MI

* Liaising with all appropriate involved parties on the case to carry out investigations and implement the set strategy
* Achieving the best result in litigation—protecting the client's position, ensuring compliance with court timetables, and undertaking advocacy where required
* Managing case investigations and strategy proactively from receipt until resolution
* Delegating tasks appropriately to assistants
* Maintaining all Case Management Systems accurately from opening to closure

Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
Primary location: Parklands, Bolton office. We are flexible with attendance, requiring presence in the office at least 1 day a week.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler, or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC, etc.)
* Experience handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated caseloads
* Understanding of insurance litigation practices, processes, and indemnity principles
* Knowledge of litigation process, CPR, relevant protocols, and platforms
* Good advocacy and client care skills
* High analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
* Problem-solving skills
* Excellent IT skills
* Experience with time recording and billing systems
