Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + Car allowance + Package

Role Summary
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of multiple projects, from pre-contract to final account. This senior role involves strategic input, risk management, supporting project teams, and ensuring best practices in commercial operations.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the candidate will provide strategic advice, manage risks, and uphold standards across all commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead commercial management of live projects, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.
* Negotiate contract terms, variations, interim payments, and final accounts.
* Manage subcontractor procurement and contracts, ensuring value and alignment with project timelines.
* Assist pre-construction teams with cost planning, tenders, and commercial advice.
* Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
* Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company procedures.
* Provide commercial forecasts and reports to senior management for strategic planning.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field.
* Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards it is desirable.
* Experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in fit-out or construction sectors.
* Knowledge of standard contracts, especially JCT.
* Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Effective leadership and communication abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant IT and reporting tools.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
