The role of Resource Manager will oversee a comprehensive administrative service being provided to the academic departments of the Faculty of Engineering through an exciting year of change for Imperial. You will be leading a team of Resource Administrators as we move to a new system for our HR, Finance and Research administration.
You will oversee the provision of support in procurement, expenses, and standard HR and Research administration processes for the academic departments of the Faculty. You will build strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders in departments and central functions and be the local expert for your team for advice, training, problem solving and escalation.
The support that you will coordinate will enable teams in the academic departments of the Faculty of Engineering to focus on their training and that critical period after go-live to ensure there is no decline in service provision. As a result, you and your team will be integral to supporting the world leading teaching and research being undertaken in the Faculty.

1. Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
2. Experience of line management, ideally with complicated workforce planning.
3. Experience in financial management and procurement
4. Knowledge of HR policies and processes
5. Demonstrable experience in the Higher Education Sector in a similar or related role.
6. Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office and online finance and HR systems)
