We are recruiting for an experienced Planning Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Sapphire Utilities Solutions, in support of the Yorkshire Water Contract. Working as part of a vibrant and energetic team, the successful applicant will be an experienced leader of high performing planning teams, with the ability to drive performance to achieve business KPIs. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a desire to deliver a great customer experience is essential. Working Hours & Location Salary : £35 000.00 per annum Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Location: Bradford 24 days holiday Bank holidays Key Responsibilities With a ‘Right First Time’ approach, motivate the team to plan preventive, planned and re-active maintenance within contractual SLAs, whilst optimising travel routes and field productivity Working closely with the key Operational stakeholders to identify and rectify issues whilst improving the effectiveness of the operations department. Maintaining high standards within Health, Safety & Environment, Housekeeping, Performance, Waste, Communication and Continuous Improvement. Lead the team to manage and coordinate the promoted workload according to defined priorities, estimating resource and duration requirements in line with agreed metrics. Engage with external and internal customers in scheduled meetings. Conduct regular 1-2-1s with team members and take responsibility for the coaching and development of the Planning Team Track and monitor performance against KPIs with a clear plan for opportunities to improve. Work with teams to enhance data quality in work promotion and scheduling to drive continuous improvement. Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated. Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner. This may include keeping the client and management team to be informed of any ongoing incidents or events. You will ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved, to both external and internal customers, providing excellent customer satisfaction. Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change. Skills, behaviours and qualifications Experienced Planning Team Leader, preferably in the Utilities Industry Fantastic Attention to Detail Experience of working within a fast-paced environment would be an advantage. Ability to make decisions in a time pressured environment. Competent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication skills Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire. Customer focused with the desire to provide a fantastic customer experience. Strong understanding of reactive wastewater network maintenance, including repair and survey processes would be an advantage. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between different teams. Ability to analyse and validate operational data to ensure accurate scheduling. Experience managing works requiring customer access and traffic management considerations would be an advantage.
