Job Description
Job Title: Senior Occupational Health Nurse (Adviser)Location: Blackpool AreaSalary: £40,476 - £44,711 per annum (pro-rata) + Market Forces Supplement up to £3k pro-rata
Role Purpose
As a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide expert advice, lead the occupational health team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality health services, supporting employee wellbeing and workplace health standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical Advice: Offer professional advice on health-related issues and support to HR and managers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Health Assessments: Conduct medical consultations, health screenings, and vaccinations. Provide reports with recommendations on managing health-related workplace adjustments.
* Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support the OH nursing and admin team, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Health Surveillance: Lead health surveillance programs and ensure all required assessments are conducted.
* Training & Development: Create and deliver health-related training for employees and managers.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential:
o Registered Nurse (Adults) with current NMC registration
o Diploma or degree in Occupational Health Nursing
o Specialist Practitioner qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
o Significant experience in occupational health nursing, including health screening, vaccinations, and case management.
* Desirable: HAVS qualification and leadership experience.
