Job Description
3. Coordinate and submit monthly financial .statements in accordance with IFRS for the UK entities.
4. Manage and mentor the finance team
5. Work closely with the Financial Shared Service Centre on sub-ledger processes.
6. Analyse financial results versus expectations, budgets, and forecasts.
7. Provide technical accounting support to the business.
8. Enhance reporting/planning systems and standardise procedures.
9. Review and implement changes in accounting, tax, and company law.
10. Lead contact for the external auditors.
11. Prepare annual statutory accounts and other ad hoc financial reports.
12. Responsible contact for external tax consultants, Group Tax and HMRC
The Successful Applicant
13. A professional with an accounting qualification - ACCA, CIMA, ACA
14. Proven experience in financial management within manufacturing sector.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems-particularly SAP
17. Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
18. Strong communication and presentation skills.
