Shift Pattern is Monday to Friday with 1 out of 4 Saturday's.

A quick look at the role.
The Multi Skilled Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within the MBT facility.
Your core responsibilities.
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems including conveyors, shredders, pumps, fans, and other waste processing equipment.
* Diagnose faults in machinery and systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise disruptions.
* Carry out electrical installations and repairs, including work on control systems, motor circuits, switchgear, and PLC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Maintain and repair mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, bearings, and rotating machinery.
* Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns.
* Adhere to site health and safety regulations, carry out risk assessments, and ensure all maintenance work is performed safely.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including fault findings, parts used, and maintenance schedules, while updating supervisors regularly.
* Identify and implement improvements in maintenance and operational processes to boost efficiency and safety.
Requirements
Our essential Requirements:
* Relevant backgrounds include: Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Electrical or Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Shift Engineer, or Maintenance Fitter.
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Industrial Electrical Maintenance Certificate of Competence.
* Hands-on experience with:
o Centrifugal, progressive cavity, and rotary lobe pumps
o Conveyor belts and screw conveyors
o Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
o Basic electrical engineering
o Compressors, motors, and gearboxes
