We have two part-time Maths Teacher roles available in our maths department. We are looking for teachers with enthusiasm for teaching as well as the ability to motivate and inspire our students to achieve their ambitions. An ideal candidate will be passionate about learners, ensuring they have an outstanding learning journey at Harrogate College. The role involves delivering GCSE and Functional Skills maths across the college to learners in all curriculum areas. We support both early-career and experienced teachers.

What You Will Do
* Plan, prepare, and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources, including online materials.
* Deliver inspiring sessions using diverse teaching methods.
* Create effective assessment activities, set SMART targets, and provide developmental feedback to motivate learners.
* Develop strong relationships with students and offer support to ensure successful outcomes.
* Reflect on teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
* Join a friendly, supportive team passionate about developing learners' self-esteem, abilities, and progress.
About You
* Degree in Maths or a related subject.
* Working towards or holding a recognised teaching qualification.
* Relevant, up-to-date subject knowledge and recent experience in Further Education or schools.
* English and Maths at Level 2 or above, with a willingness to progress to Level 3.
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to an inclusive, nurturing environment.
