The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) team is offering a 9-month fixed-term position for an Administrator / Office Clerk.
Your main task will be to assist the SSNAP team with everyday administrative responsibilities, including working closely with clinical staff to collect important information. You should be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
The SSNAP team will provide complete training on administrative procedures.
Responsibilities
* Assist with clerical support in the day-to-day running of the office area to ensure service provision is met.
* Collect data.
* Send appropriate data to authorised recipients.
* Respond to queries from other departments efficiently.
* Collect information on the department's general activity.
* Participate in appropriate audit programmes.
* Prepare reports or statistical information as required by the team.
* Responsible for the implementation and updating of databases.
* Collate and update specific databases in accordance with set procedures.
* Make effective use of general Trust IT systems.
* General clerical duties, together with diary control and scheduling of events.
* Support other clerical staff as required.
Qualifications
* Basic computer and office skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, data entry systems, and standard office software.
* Prior experience in healthcare administration or audits is an advantage.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00, totalling 37.5 hours per week.
