Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Manager: Digital Product Engineering, you oversee the end‑to‑end process of delivering digital products, leveraging broad experience in successfully delivering across different types of engagements. You lead the cross‑functional collaboration between product, design, and engineering to drive successful product outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Lead Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Oversee project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure that product development meets deadlines and quality standards. This involves facilitating collaboration among teams and clients to deliver successful product outcomes.
* Manage Project Timelines: Plan and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of digital products, identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project schedules.
* Facilitate Team Collaboration: Lead collaboration between product, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
* Oversee Stakeholder Communication: Ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and progress reports.
* Ensure Quality Standards: Verify that product development meets quality standards, identifying and addressing any quality issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Required technical and professional expertise
The Defence Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth across IBM’s Defence portfolio. The role combines bid support, sales enablement, and go‑to‑market (GTM) execution, supporting complex, high‑value defence opportunities. Working closely with account teams, technical specialists, and ecosystem partners, the successful candidate will help shape, qualify, and convert strategic defence deals.
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Broad Engagement Experience: Experience with successfully delivering across different types of engagements, including varying project sizes, complexities, and technologies.
* Digital Product Knowledge: Familiarity with digital product development processes, including Agile methodologies and product development life cycles.
* Cross‑Functional Understanding: Exposure to collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including product, design, and engineering teams to drive successful product outcomes.
