Our client is seeking a commercially minded Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership across the group.
This is a long-term opportunity for a senior finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, multi-entity environment and enjoys shaping business strategy alongside operational leaders.
Role Overview
As Fractional CFO, you will work closely with the Managing Directors of each business, acting as a strategic partner and financial steward. Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Finance Leadership: Driving long-term financial planning, investment strategy, and risk management
* Business Partnering: Supporting MDs with commercial decision-making, pricing, margin analysis, and operational efficiency
* Contract Finance Oversight: Managing long-term contract performance, forecasting, and scenario modelling
* Group Reporting & Governance: Ensuring consistency, compliance, and clarity across all financial reporting
* Process & Systems Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows where needed to enhance financial visibility

About you
You’re a seasoned finance leader who brings:
* Proven CFO or senior finance experience within manufacturing, engineering, or contract-led sectors
* A strategic mindset with hands-on capability and commercial acumen
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience managing finance across multiple entities
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
