Role Description
The BIM Manager is responsible for leading the operational delivery of BIM across all Benoy projects while driving innovation in digital design and project delivery. The role ensures consistency, quality, and compliance in BIM workflows and supports the evolution of Benoy’s digital delivery strategy.
Working closely with the Head of Technology, the BIM Manager connects project-level implementation with Benoy’s broader vision for data-driven design, automation, and sustainable digital practices. The role balances hands‑on management of BIM operations with forward‑looking contributions to new digital workflows and best practices.
What we're looking for
* 6–10 years of experience in BIM management / coordination on large or complex architectural projects.
* Proven experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects.
* Strong client‑facing and coordination capabilities.
* Advanced proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Dynamo, Grasshopper, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
* Solid understanding of ISO19650 and BIM execution planning.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and mentoring skills.
* Experience with computational design, sustainability, or automation workflows is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
* Line‑manage and mentor the BIM Coordinator team across regions.
* Oversee BIM delivery on all live projects through the coordinator team.
* Hold regular touchpoints with design teams to review BIM performance and project support needs.
* Manage BIM resources, priorities, and task assignments across the team.
* Provide operational feedback and performance input for BIM Coordinators.
Project and Delivery Support
* Support project teams in BIM setup, coordination, and compliance with BEP, AIR, and ISO19650.
* Lead or attend project BIM meetings and workshops with clients and consultants.
* Resolve coordination and delivery challenges across multiple disciplines.
* Ensure consistent modelling and documentation standards across all projects.
Digital Delivery and Innovation
* Champion innovation in digital project delivery, exploring new workflows, platforms, and tools that improve efficiency and design outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Head of Technology on developing and implementing Benoy’s digital delivery strategy.
* Support integration of BIM with computational, analytical, and sustainability workflows.
* Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to pilot initiatives and process improvements.
Standards and Systems
* Maintain and update Benoy’s BIM Standards, templates, and content libraries.
* Ensure consistent interoperability between Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
* Support deployment and management of Autodesk Construction Cloud and related platforms.
* Oversee software license allocation, renewals, and support planning in collaboration with the Head of Technology.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
* Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training programs for design teams.
* Work with the Design Technology Specialist to implement automation, AI, and sustainability workflows.
* Capture lessons learned and develop internal guidance materials for best practice modeling and coordination.
Collaboration and Strategy
* Liaise regularly with the Head of Technology on software strategy, pipeline development, and rollout plans.
* Provide input on strategic initiatives related to AI, sustainability, and automation.
* Contribute to bid submissions and technical proposals from a BIM management perspective.
