This is for a seasonal position to support our production teams with the Christmas period, Week day working Monday to Friday, the AM shift from 05:45 to 14:40, the contract is expected to be until the end of December.

Area of responsibility
Responsible for the processing, packing, or despatch of quality products to meet production targets and maintain cost efficiency and safe working conditions.
Specific Tasks
o Carry out all tasks necessary on specific lines within the production side of the factory
o Process, seal, pack, or despatch high quality products to the correct specification
o Work as part of a team or independently to ensure production targets are met in their area
o Ensure safe handling and transportation of food products throughout the factory
o Comply with the highest level of health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
o Follow the correct procedures to ensure all product tracking is carried out successfully
o Carry out service roles throughout their production area to the required standard
o Coach or train other new Production Operatives where necessary to the required standard
o Cover other departments where necessary within required training and skill levels
o Contribute to departmental and site improvement projects as required
o Step up to the next level when required to ensure the smooth operation of the department
o Report any hazards or problems to their manager for resolution
o Take responsibility for own development
o Ensure timekeeping, performance, and attendance meet company expectations
