Overview
The West London NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in CAMHS to join our expanding CAMHS Alliance, covering three London boroughs.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct specialist mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with adolescents and their families.
• Support young people at risk of self‑harm in community settings, prioritising candidates with crisis and/or home‑treatment experience.
• Work within a multi‑disciplinary team, holding a clinical caseload and performing comprehensive risk assessments and management planning for children and young people in crisis.
• Assist CAMHS and paediatrics teams with treatment planning; provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals.
• Deliver specialist mental‑health services across the West London NHS Trust 3‑borough CAMHS Service and crisis pathway.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Band 7 level in a clinical nursing role with proven experience in CAMHS.
• Demonstrated commitment to creative engagement with a culturally diverse population of young people.
• Ability to initiate and work effectively as a team player, with clear communication skills to professionals, young people, and families.
• Experience in crisis care, home treatment or related settings gives preference.

The post is permanent and full‑time with opportunities for continuing professional development and consistent supervision from a senior clinical nurse.
