HR Advisor (Hybrid)Woking, Surrey Permanent & HybridSalary £40,000-£45,000Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence, support and shape people oues? This HR Advisor position offers breadth, autonomy and the chance to partner closely with managers across a busy and fast‑paced organisation.You’ll join a supportive HR team, reporting to an HR Manager and working across a wide range of ER and people activity. This role sits within the HR RUI function and plays a central part in driving fair, inclusive and effective people practices.What you’ll be doing
1. You'll be the first point of contact for managers, providing clear, practical and confident HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, including:
2. Advising managers on a range of employee relations and management issues
3. Managing disciplinary, grievance andplex ER cases
4. Leading annual and in‑cycle HR processes (inclusive recruitment, talent reviews, succession planning,pensation planning, IPF calibration, etc.)
5. Coordinating organisational change activity – restructures, relocations, outsourcing and M&A support
6. Coaching and upskilling managers to confidently manage performance, ER processes and people matters
7. Supporting workforce planning, forecasting and the use of people metrics
8. Monitoring absence trends and managing long‑term sickness cases
What you’ll bring
9. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
10. Experience advising managers on ER and people management issues
11. Solid understanding of HR policies, processes and systems
12. Hands‑on experience leading core HR cycles (recruitment, performance,pensation, promotions)
13. Confidentmunicator with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
14. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
15. Proven experience delivering organisational change
16. Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
17. CIPD qualification or HR-related degree (desirable)
18. A genuinemitment to role modelling inclusive behaviours and values
