Description

With more than 40 offices on 5 continents, our forensic accountants specialise in a wide range of practice areas. Our assignments consist of disputes in commercial litigation, family law, fraud, business valuations, business disputes, natural and man-made catastrophes, lost profits, and insurance.
Our partners and senior staff regularly provide extensive litigation services and expert witness testimony in courts, arbitrations and mediations throughout the world.
This is a full-time role and will be hybrid from the London office.
This full-time, hybrid Staff Accountant role requires excellent analytical skills, an inquisitive nature, tenacity to get to the root-cause of discrepancies and/or issues and a relentless desire to keep learning and challenging one-self.
Key Responsibilities
* Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
* Physical inventory observation, price testing
* Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
* Check and proof reports and schedules
* Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information
* Research, data analysis and evaluation
* Invoice analysis
* Event attendance as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* You must be a fully-qualified accountant, ideally in pursuit of your CPA
* 9 months+ (including internships) experience in a professional accounting (or related) role.
* A desire to work and progress in the forensic accounting landscape
* Demonstrable analytic skills, intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
* Confident communication skills
* Content to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
* Knowledge of how loss events can impact a business is advantageous
