The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for and level 2 Paint Inspector for a 3 month contract on an HS2 site in Water Orton, near Birmingham. The work will be on highways structures and will include:
* Inspection of maintenance painting works (surface preparation, coating application, etc.)
* Reviewing and understanding various client specifications
* Recommending corrective actions to engineering for evaluation
* Completing inspection documents on computer
* Ensuring inspection and test equipment is serviceable before use
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Paint Inspector associated with a large project
* ICORR Level 2 or NACE level 2
* Construction health and safety awareness
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
