About this opportunity This is an exciting time to join the Consumer Lending Cards Team to influence the strategic direction of the UKs largest consumer finance provider. You'll be responsible for identifying, shaping and delivering innovative marketing and growth opportunities across our four brands – Lloyds, Halifax, BoS and MBNA and via our own and third-party digital channels, delivering fair value for customers and ensuring responsible lending within risk appetite. Our Commercial teams optimises the financial performance and strategic objectives of the Loans business. As a Customer Analytics Manager, you’ll provide commercial leadership to optimise our customer and financial performance, proposition development, marketing and customer loan demand within our channels and journeys. What will I be doing? Leading the identification and evaluation of new customer growth opportunities, including marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and commercial modelling Developing and delivering pivotal initiatives that support the Loans growth agenda, including new propositions, partnerships, and digital journeys Collaborating with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Digital teams to shape and implement customer centric growth strategies Building compelling reasons and securing customer alignment and investment Monitoring and reporting on the performance of critical initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities to optimise delivery Maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making Assisting with crafting the yearly operating plan and long-term planning process Applying coding and modelling techniques to build and validate forecasting tools and scenario simulations Why Lloyds Banking Group We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. What you’ll need Strong People Leadership and interpersonal Skills Critical Thinking & Commercial Acumen: Ability to think long-term and identify commercial opportunities that align with customer needs and business goals. Highly numerical, data-driven individual, responsible for maximising commercial performance, having a clear understanding of financial metrics and performance drivers Intellectually & Analytically Curious: Unafraid to challenge the status quo, have an intellectually curious outlook, where you seek to innovate and adapt quickly from setbacks. Delivery Focus: Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives is a plus. Data Analytics: Experience in building and validating models for forecasting, pricing, and segmentation. Proficient in coding languages and tools such as Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Python, SQL, SAS, VBA, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau. Communicate & Influence: Present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation, including Managing Director level. Market Awareness: Strong understanding of the external environment, including customer trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments.
