Residential Care Practitioner Childrens Residential Homes (Derby)
We are currently recruiting for Residential Care Practitioners to join our childrens residential homes in Derby, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a safe and supportive environment.

Role Overview You will provide day-to-day care and support to young people, helping to create a stable, positive environment that promotes their development and wellbeing.
Key Requirements Must hold one of the following: Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
Minimum 1 year experience working with children (not early years)
Experience in residential care or youth work (EBD experience advantageous)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Working Pattern Approx. 56.5 hours per week (including sleep-ins)
Shift pattern: 08:0023:00 + sleep
Morning handover the following day (08:0008:30)
3-week rolling rota
Approx. 10 shifts per month
Includes training and team meetings (approx. 244.5 hours/month total)
