About The Role

SITE ENGINEER
LOCATION: Ballycastle, NI
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
DIVISON: Building

Are You a Skilled Site Engineer Seeking Your Next Big Challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Ballycastle, working on a landmark multi-million-pound project. If you have a strong background in setting out, managing subcontractor packages and envelope works, we want to hear from you. Experience in swimming pool construction would also be highly desirable, though not essential.

Expected duties:

1. Perform precise surveying and setting out using Robotic Total Stations.
2. Review technical drawings, specifications, and quantities; raise and manage TQs as needed.
3. Coordinate material procurement and manage site logistics.
4. Plan and oversee daily site operations to ensure timely delivery.
5. Liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
6. Supervise site labour and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work.
7. Mentor and support trainee engineers.
8. Uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the site.
9. Maintain accurate quality assurance records and a detailed site diary.
10. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
11. Organise and oversee material testing.
12. Drive innovation and continuous improvement on-site.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:

13. Proven experience as a Site Engineer.
14. Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with QA tools like FieldView or Autodesk Build.
15. Strong background in Setting out, managing subcontractor packages and envelope works
16. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience:
17. Experience with swimming pool construction would be highly desirable
18. Understanding of Air tightness
19. Experience with tiling dimensions and finishes
