Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Reception Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead front facing operations and will over see the reception, and concierge team. You will be focused on ensuring smooth guest arrivals, departures and overall service quality.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Guest Experience: Ensure a warm, friendly, and efficient service for guests at the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, special requests, and managing complaints.
* Staff Management: Train, supervise, and schedule front office personnel, including receptionists, concierges, and night auditors.
* Operations: Monitor front office performance, manage staff rotas, and ensure all operations run smoothly.
* Coordination: Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest journeys and operations.
* Problem-Solving: Act as a critical thinker to troubleshoot emergencies and address guest issues.
* Communication: communicate effectly with your teams, other departments and our guests
Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
* Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
* Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse clients
* Previous experience in front desk operations or office management preferred
* Experience in customer service or administrative roles is highly desirable
* Knowledge of bookkeeping principles is beneficial for handling financial tasks
* Ability to manage calendars effectively and coordinate appointments
