Administrator (Senior Business Operations Assistant)
Join Somerset Council as a key senior Business Operations Assistant, supporting children’s social care services from County Hall, Taunton.
What will I be doing?
* Database monitoring and updating
* Taking telephone calls and responding to email requests
* Arranging transport and sending out letters and reports
* Arranging and minuting meetings
* Liaising with professionals from other agencies
Qualifications and experience
* Passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people in Somerset
* Warm, friendly, non-judgemental manner to support families, calm and kind in difficult situations
* Experience working in an office environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, Excel) and comfortable using databases
* Can deal with changing and competing deadlines and priorities
* GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths

Salary and contact
The salary for this role is £25,185 – £25,989 per annum.
