About The Role
As a Mobile Estate Assistant at Guinness, you will be responsible for providing high quality garden services to several of our housing schemes in Swindon, Devizes and the surrounding areas.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Some of the key duties involved are:
* In your role as an Estate Assistant, you’ll carry out grounds’ maintenance of our communal green spaces.
* You will maintain the upkeep of all landscaped areas, ensuring pathways and hard standings are kept clear of debris.
* Operate landscaping machinery, ride-on mowers, strimmer’s, hedge cutters and blowers.
* Working as part of a team.
* Provide a high-quality service to residents.
* Cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas well maintained.
* Working outside all year round, working in inclement weather conditions as well as exposure to cold/heat and noise.
* Keep accurate records of your work, sharing best practice and ways of working to improve the service, learning from experience when things don’t go to plan.
Requirements:
As you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, we are looking for someone who has good customer service skills with the ability to work both within a team and on your own.
You will also have:
* Recent experience in grounds maintenance.
* Have a good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements.
* Have basic IT knowledge and comfortable using mobile devices (training will be provided).
* Be punctual and a positive attitude.
* Full manual driving licence.
* Build effective relationships based on trust and respect and be a great ambassador for The Guinness Partnership.
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture or equivalent
* PA1, PA4b & PA6 NPTC Certificates
