Live In Head Housekeeper Job - North Lincolnshire
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to run a large formal home in Lincolnshire.
You will be hands on and overseeing full-time housekeeping staff and coordinating with gardeners and maintenance staff. The client is looking for someone who has had Head Housekeeper / Housekeeping experience in a similar property. You need to be able to run the property, be organised, personable, discreet and be able to manage your own time.
Applicants must have a history of long-term employment and excellent references and be committed to looking for a long-term position.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the Housekeepers while still being hands on
* Managing the rotas / staff administration
* Managing the cleaning schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis
* Have experience with the care of art and antiques and fine fabrics
* Manage inventories
* Managing the purchasing for the property
* Dealing with contractors and monitoring any maintenance needs
* Managing the property security
* Take care of general household administration
* Organising shooting parties
* Overall you will be responsible for the smooth running of the house and ensure that it is ready for use when the family visits but most importantly keeping it feeling like a family home
2 bed accommodation can be provided on the estate, rent free and council tax paid. Partners welcome to follow own profession.
Full-time 40 hours per week to include some weekends.
Start as soon as they find the right person.
£40,000 to £45,000 + negotiable depending on experience.
