The Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our client’s food production team in Evesham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and detail-focused individual to play a key role in a fast-paced packhouse and production environment.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient running of multiple production lines, ensuring all products are packed to the highest standards of quality, food hygiene, and health & safety. Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
Ensure all production line staff comply with food hygiene, health & safety, and company policies
Operate, monitor, and oversee the efficient performance of multiple production lines
Carry out start-up and end-of-shift machinery checks to ensure equipment is safe and operational
Perform routine quality inspections, identifying and removing contaminants to maintain product safety
Organise and maintain packaging materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production
Complete tool and format changeovers in coordination with the maintenance team
Report and assist in resolving machine faults or production issues promptly
Work closely with production colleagues to improve processes and efficiency
Support the achievement of line KPIs and production targets
Ensure production lines are cleaned and shut down correctly at the end of each shift
Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the Packhouse Vision
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail, particularly around quality control and safety checks
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
A proactive and problem-solving mindset
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced food production environment
