What You'll Be Doing
As a Weekend Carer (7am–2pm), you'll be supporting older adults in their own homes across Trowbridge. Your role will focus on:
* Helping clients with their morning routines — washing, dressing, and getting ready for the day
* Preparing breakfast or lunch and ensuring meals are enjoyed
* Supporting with medications and wellbeing checks
* Providing companionship and conversation to brighten someone's morning
* Helping with light household tasks where needed
Every visit is unique. Some clients need a practical helping hand, others simply appreciate a friendly face and a chat over a cup of tea.
What You'll Need
* A valid UK driving licence and your own car
* Availability to work weekend mornings, 7am–2pm (every or alternate weekends)
* A caring nature, friendly personality, and good spoken English
* No previous care experience required — full training provided
