Duties & Responsibilities:

* Oversee administration and management of company pension schemes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective performance monitoring.
* Liaise with external providers, trustees, and regulators to resolve issues and maintain strong governance standards.
* Stay updated on UK and Ireland pension legislation, ensuring schemes remain compliant with all regulatory requirements.
* Implement governance frameworks and controls to safeguard scheme assets and mitigate risks.
* Provide guidance and support to employees on pension eligibility, contributions, and retirement planning.
* Develop and deliver communication strategies to enhance employee understanding and engagement with pension benefits.
* Partner with finance teams to manage pension scheme budgets, forecasting, costs, and performance reviews, identifying opportunities for savings and optimization.
* Lead and develop a team of pension professionals, fostering collaboration, coaching, and continuous professional growth.

Who we're looking for:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, human resources, or related field; professional pension qualification (e.g., PMI, CIPP) desirable
* Minimum 8 years' experience in pension management or related roles, including proven managerial responsibility.
* In-depth knowledge of pension regulations and practices in the UK and Ireland, ideally within a multi-site or multinational environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in pension scheme management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with employees at all levels.
* High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
