Welcome to DJ Alexander, where we know Scotland inside out. As part of Lomond, the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies, we cover Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, St. Andrews, Dundee and Aberdeen with over 300 staff ready to assist our customers. We help people find, sell, and let property. This is a full-time permanent contract located in our Edinburgh city centre office. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The salary is £23,500-£26,000, dependant on experience.
What the job involves for an End of Tenancy Property Relationship Manager
* Managing day-to-day maintenance requests within the end-of-tenancy process, delivering a high standard of customer service over the phone, emails and internal software from landlords, tenants and contractors for property readiness and work completion for new occupancies.
* Understanding landlord and tenant responsibilities when managing day-to-day requests to clearly communicate obligations to customers.
* Ensuring maintenance issues are logged and managed effectively in a timely manner.
* Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.
Required and desirable skills
* Previous property management, or industry-related experience preferred, but not essential.
* Demonstrate good negotiation and communication skills and be competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes – both written and verbal.
* A positive, proactive attitude with a strong customer service focus.
* Meticulous attention to detail and confidence in relaying information.
* Process-driven with efficient administration and organisational skills.
* Ability to problem solve, stay calm under pressure and have a track record of exceeding client expectations.
* You must have the current legal right to work in the UK.
