Newly Qualified Solicitor – Personal Injury
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £36,000
We’re working with a growing Personal Injury team that’s looking to bring in a Newly Qualified Solicitor who’s keen to develop their litigation experience in a supportive but driven environment.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload, working on genuine, good-quality claims sourced internally (no CMC work). You’ll be trusted to run files with guidance available as you continue to develop.
What the role involves
1. Running a mixed pre-litigated and litigated Personal Injury caseload
2. Managing files from initial instruction through to settlement or hearing
3. Advising clients clearly and confidently at each stage of their claim
4. Preparing key legal documentation, including witness statements and pleadings
5. Instructing medical experts and liaising with counsel where required
6. Reviewing evidence, liability, and quantum to progress matters efficiently
7. Negotiating settlements and assisting with hearings when needed
8. Working to targets in a fast-moving team, while maintaining strong client care
