Core subject (Mathematics, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors

We are looking for tutors who are passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged, at‐risk, and vulnerable learners in Warwickshire.

SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other educational needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support the young person’s educational and social‑emotional journey through flexible, holistic, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring
* Work mainly 1:1, but may include small group support where appropriate
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each session of teaching, tutoring or mentoring
* Deliver holistic and engaging sessions that meet the learner’s needs and advance their educational and social‑emotional progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the learner’s progress
Requirements
* Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with the cost)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK and be based in the UK for all assignments (remote / online assignments require UK location)
Employment status
* Work as a contractor under a contract for service, paid via PAYE
* No set amount of work or expense coverage is provided
* Insurance coverage is provided for your work with us
* This is not a self‑employed tutoring position
