We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our team at MEA Central.
This is a permanent post working 35 hours per week, all year round. It is a Grade 3 position with a starting salary of £25,185 per annum.
We’re looking for:
* An administrator who is self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent time management skills.
* Experience in reception, clerical, administrative, and financial work.
* Proficiency with ICT packages including Microsoft 365.
* Numeracy and literacy skills at NVQ Level 2 or higher.
* The ability to maintain and update administrative and information systems.
* Tact and diplomacy, with the ability to build good relationships with children and adults.
Main purpose of the job:
To receive visitors, communicate courteously and clearly, answer enquiries, and provide administrative and financial support to the school and Senior Leadership Team. To work collaboratively to support pupil wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Arranging meetings and taking high-standard notes.
* Assisting with pupil first aid and welfare duties, liaising with parents and staff.
* Ensuring compliance with policies on child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.
* Providing clerical support such as photocopying, filing, and responding to routine correspondence.
* Maintaining and updating administrative systems and collating information.
* Producing data reports, managing mail, and administering school lettings.
