GSL Educationare currently recruiting for aSEMH Teaching Assistant to work with pupils inWorksop who require additional behavioural and emotional support. This role involves working both on‑site and off‑site, so a full UK driving licence with business insurance is essential.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
* Providing consistent emotional and behavioural support tailored to individual needs.
* Assisting with off-site provisions and transporting students when required.
* Helping to manage challenging behaviour and build positive relationships.
* Working closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote pupil wellbeing and progress.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
* Be calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure.
* Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects and settings.
* Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
