Warehouse Manager Role
As our Warehouse Manager, you must be organised and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You should be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritise your workload, and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and couriers.
Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, understanding stock management, operations, logistics, and health and safety is essential. You must follow procedures and suggest improvements. Politeness, friendliness, hard work, and pride in your work are important qualities.
About the Role
This role involves ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of stock, especially inward and outbound goods, inventory control, forecasting, and preparing orders for sale and shipping. Although managerial, it is also hands-on. With Dermapure Clinical's growth, this role is expected to become more managerial over time. The position is based at our head office in Surrey.
Responsibilities and Skills
* Working with Sage 200 for accounts and stock management
* Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
* Collaborating with the accounts department on stock control and ordering
* Managing goods inward, logging, and storage
* Optimising storage space and planning for future capacity
* Overseeing daily warehouse operations
* Controlling stock, reordering, managing product lifespans, and conducting stocktakes
* Preparing sales orders for shipping and ensuring safe packaging
* Liaising with the sales team on order issues
* Negotiating courier services and managing relationships
* Preparing and shipping trade show goods
* Maintaining warehouse security and health and safety standards
* Representing the business professionally
* Traveling to meetings and industry events as needed
* Performing additional tasks for the benefit of the business
* Possessing excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills
* Interest in the skincare sector is beneficial
