Service Manager We are looking for an aspirational and highly professional Senior Service Advisor to make the next step into Service Management. You will benefit from operating in a franchised environment where standards are high and delivering quality and service to the customer is paramount. As we seek to continue to grow our already well established aftersales and parts business you will benefit from our investment in training, technology and tools, as well as working with a successful and motivated team. As Service Manager, you will lead from the front and inspire colleagues. You will deliver a full Aftersales service to our customers, and maximise profitability of the sales of parts, labour hours, lubricants, tyres and subcontracted sales. You will work closely with our Workshop controller and Aftersales Manager to ensure the workshop runs efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities: The role includes but is not limited to: The smooth operation of a busy workshop and front counter staff to keep customers informed throughout there service experience Using internal systems to track workshop activity against KPIs and workshop loading Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training Creating close relationships with other managers to ensure warranty/parts/internal works are communicated and adhere to any Service Level Agreements Leading from the front and ensuring that your staff are working to manufacturer customer satisfaction targets To continually prospect and update our customer base Skills Required: Previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry is preferred as well as a strong technical knowledge and experience with working with the public Ideally, you will have the ability to work in a high pressured environment and have fantastic leadership skills that can drive a team forward You should strive for operational excellence and have a strategic mind-set, whilst ensuring that the customer always comes first Passion for customer service and the ability to develop rapport and trust with customers to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment recognising individual responsibility to contribute to the performance and success of the team To be able to manage and motivate a team in their daily activities, and to be able to coach, support and develop members of your team Ability to keep up to date with complex information, proven selling skills and good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent administration and organisational skills, and good diary management and following up within agreed timeframes A full and valid UK Driving Licence Full ongoing professional training will be provided to the successful candidate ensuring they have up-to-date industry leading skills and knowledge. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary (Dependent on experience) plus Generous Bonus Scheme (OTE £40,000 pa) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 5.30pm; plus every 4th Saturday, 8.30am -1.30pm.
