ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER / SERVICE ENGINEER
Tipton – Permanent Job Role
Monday – Thursday 7.15am – 4.15pm Friday 7.15am – 12.15 – 38 hours a week
£40,000 - £44,000 Per Annum
We are looking for a motivated Electrical Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within the company. The role will be conducting and carrying out electrical repairs and support on breakdowns. You will be offering essential maintenance to equipment and the facilities infrastructure with emphasis on the electrical elements. This position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Providing both Reactive & Planned & Preventative Maintenance
Working on a variety of machinery including pneumatic and hydraulic Machines etc.
Ensuring all equipment & machines on site are safe and fit for purpose
Conducting electrical repairs to breakdown of any machinery or equipment
Fault Finding both Electrical & Mechanical
Ensure adherence to all legal and safety requirements
Knowledge & Competencies
Knowledge on Mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulic Machines
Planned preventative maintenance scheduling
Leadership and man management skills
Competent problem solving skills
High attention to detail and decision making
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Skills and Qualifications Required
2-3 years Maintenance Experience – Electrical Biased
HND/ BTEC Qualification / Engineering Degree /Electrical Qualification
Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
Wiring regulations
High level of Technical competency
Fault Finding ability both Electrical and Mechanical
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
