Job Purpose and work duties
Job purpose:
To support my 9 year old son within the home or accessing social opportunities within the community. My child is non-verbal, been diagnosed with ADHD, autism and a genetic disorder. He has a huge smile and loves anything digger, lorry, train related. He loves the outdoors. I am looking for support after school once a week, occasional weekend hours and one day during half terms.
Work Duties will include:
• Supporting him with toileting and personal care.
• Support him with basic day to day tasks.
• Support him in all aspects of socialising.
• Take him out to enjoy outdoors activities.
Other requirements
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality.
• Always ensuring the safety of the child
• Be willing to undertake personal care tasks.
Requirements for applicant (include any specialised training if required)
• Imagination in relation to activities to undertake – enjoy the outdoors!
• Good sense of humour
• Be able to be patient and clear in communication.
• Flexible, reliable and honest
• Physically fit, agile and energetic
• Understanding of additional needs
• Full driving license with business insurance within your policy
• DBS Check will be completed
Location –
Number of PA roles available -
£12.71 per hour
Term Time – 4 hours
Non-Term Time - 8 hours
