Electrical Tester - EICRs/EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Engineer
We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for testing to become our EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Engineer. You will be responsible for all aspects of EICR testing and remedial works at X1 residential and student properties throughout Manchester and Liverpool. The role is predominantly Liverpool based, with regular travel to Manchester required.

Role Responsibilities
* Completing checks and producing certifications, including EICRs, for our residential properties.
* Carrying out remedial electrical work.
* Diagnosing electrical faults and conducting repairs.
* Ensuring compliance with current electrical safety regulations.
* Supporting the wider maintenance team with general maintenance tasks as required.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018)
* Level 3 qualification in Inspection and Testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395)
* Experience in residential EICR testing
* Experience in general residential electrical work
* Membership of relevant professional bodies such as NAPIT or NICEIC (desirable)
* Ability to ensure compliance with current electrical safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good organizational skills to manage workload and schedules

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Friday
