Malaberg is currently seeking a Video Editor who will edit short and long-form marketing videos to be used online that engage the target audience.
Job Description
Essential experience required:
* 2-3+ yrs practical video editing experience
* Understanding and ability to edit motion graphics
* Understanding of social platforms
* Ability to sell through video using direct response marketing
* Well-versed in Final Cut/Adobe Suite
* Understanding of photoshop and photo editing
* Dedicated to being the best in your field
* Documentary or long-form video experience is a bonus
Key Responsibilities:
* Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content
* Creative responsibility and management of projects worked on measured against performance KPIs
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Creating new styles and innovating in the editing process with little guidance
* New format ideas
Expectations:
* Work closely with and report directly to our post-production director.
* Content analysis
* Attention to detail
* Time management and prioritisation of tasks
* Communication with copywriters and freelancers
* Editing of the highest standard
