Responsibilities
As a Graduate Business Support Manager, you will:
* Build and maintain successful relationships with supply chain partners and clients.
* Champion a safe and stable environment, ensuring project compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) 1974.
* Monitor project performance against contract requirements, including agreed KPIs and SLAs.
* Provide regular reporting on progress metrics, key activities, and expenditure against budget.
* Assist with data collection and record-keeping for supply chain performance meetings and contract exercises.
* Support the senior management team in attending strategic meetings.
* Develop understanding of risk, forecasting, and budget setting with the Commercial Manager.
* Work with Finance to understand monthly figures and prevent losses.
* Support internal and external auditing and close out actions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be studying towards or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Construction, or a STEM-related subject.
* Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Be able to build and manage relationships at all levels.
* Be collaborative and able to work well in a team environment.
* Have ambition and drive to progress to a leadership role.
* Have a high level of numerical aptitude.
* Be an active problem solver.
* Be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work to tight deadlines.
* Be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
