Job Overview We are seeking a proactive Business Systems Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of our business systems. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective system solutions. Why Join Us? 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm 28 days holiday per year (rising with service) including bank holidays Dams employee hub with hundreds of retailer discounts Health cash plan (employer funded) Death in service insurance (employer funded) Employee 'Above and Beyond' awards to celebrate people who make a difference Annual wellbeing events focused on supporting you Free on-site parking Key responsibilities: Collaborate with IT users to maintain an exceptional level of service, monitoring and resolving IFS and other business system related issues Work closely with other IT users to execute the IT strategy and roadmap Act as a key point of contact between business and third-party vendors - escalate support issues, manage relationships, and ensure delivery against project plans Work closely with key stakeholders, analyse existing processes and identify improvements Manage future IFS and other business system rollouts, enhancements and upgrades Perform change management, create project and test plans, manage key priorities Take ownership of business system change requests and manage work undertaken by developers/contractors Develop technical specifications for future IFS enhancements Ensures strict controls are in-place to manage on-going IFS development requests Collaborate with cross functional teams to configure and support EDI Experience and skills required: Experience in IFS or similar ERP systems Previous experience as a business systems analyst or similar role Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred) Knowledge of systems development life cycle Able to use SQL to query databases and create reports Ability to communicate with internal and external software developers Able to communicate effectively with non-technical parties Familiarity in data analysis or business intelligence (preferred) Experience in EDI (preferred) If you are passionate about optimising systems, and driving continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
