Mears provides tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations. About the role As a General Operative you'll be responsible for ensuring spaces are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for use. This involves a pre-clean to remove loose debris and dust, followed by a final clean to sanitise all surfaces. You'll also perform Mold washes to treat and prevent Mold growth, using specialised cleaning solutions and protective gear. After completing the cleaning tasks, you'll handle debris removal, ensuring all waste materials are properly disposed of. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role. Role Criteria UK Full driving licence Knowledge of health and safety Experience within the construction industry. All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
