Branch Manager – Max Spielmann (Dumfries)
Location: Dumfries
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours over 5 days (includes weekends with occasional overtime when trained)
Pay: Starting at £27,284 per annum, increasing to £27,456 per annum following a successful trial period. Uncapped weekly bonus available.
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, customer‑focused individual to run one of our branches in Dumfries. You will use your initiative to deliver a range of photographic services (prints, canvases, portraits, frames, photo gifts, Photoshop) to customers. Full training will be provided – no prior experience required.
Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day operations of the branch
* Provide excellent customer service and promote and sell services
* Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness
* Train and support team members in service delivery and customer interaction
* Assist with inventory, stock replenishment and stock taking
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, corporate standards and best practice
Qualifications
* Strong personality with good communication skills
* Drive to succeed and commitment to excellent customer experience
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime
* Previous retail or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
