SEN Teaching Assistant We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school. This is one of those roles where no two days are the same, but everyday matters. You will support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The role requires someone that is patient and brilliant at building trust. What you'll be doing Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils Helping children stay focused during lessons Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Monitoring and recording pupil progress What we're looking for A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN A calm, patient and supportive approach Strong communication skills Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise) A willingness to learn and adapt Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What you can expect from Protocol Weekly PAYE pay Ongoing support from a consultant who genuinely cares Free CPD and online training opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
