The Job
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will support senior finance leaders and operational teams, helping to deliver meaningful financial insight and drive commercial performance.
Key responsibilities to include:
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
* Producing accurate and insightful financial analysis to support decision‑making
* Partnering with operational stakeholders to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement
* Preparing monthly reports, variance analysis, and key performance metrics
* Assisting in driving process improvements and enhancing reporting capabilities
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc commercial analysis and projects
The Person
You will ideally have:
* Experience in a finance role (e.g. Assistant Management Accountant, Analyst, or similar)
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
* A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
* Excellent Excel and systems skills, with a keen interest in technology and data
* A genuine interest in commercial finance and adding value beyond the numbers
