Job Summary
This role involves working with a global team to develop, enhance, and maintain communication surveillance applications and platforms, focusing on Capital Markets Surveillance initiatives and project execution.
Responsibilities
1. Execute the roadmap for communication surveillance development and enhancement.
2. Collaborate with regional teams to define business and technology requirements, including technology selection and surveillance development.
3. Maintain and improve the operating model for surveillance design and development.
4. Participate in global training programs for communication surveillance.
5. Perform activities related to the global risk assessment framework, focusing on Capital Markets in EMEA and APAC.
6. Identify areas for improvement based on risk assessments and key inputs.
7. Support a centralized team responsible for surveillance review design and effectiveness assessments.
8. Provide advisory support for communication surveillance queries and projects globally.
Qualifications
* Subject matter expertise in market abuse and regulatory requirements.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience with surveillance activities in institutional sales and trading.
* Knowledge of surveillance techniques within Capital Markets.
* Experience with Trading Systems.
* Experience working in a global organization with cross-regional teams.
* Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior management, auditors, and regulators.
* Ability to work independently, manage change, and handle competing priorities.
* Strong collaboration skills within a matrix organizational structure.
* Ability to provide insightful feedback and influence decision-making.
