Robert Half Cambridge have partnered with a business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their Finance Department in Cambourne, Cambridge on an 18 month FTC.
For role will involve preparing and managing accounting data to provide, manage and report financial information in a timely manner to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role is paying a salary of £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 from home. The ideal candidate will be immediate as the client is looking for someone to start asap.
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in month end and year end close process to deadline
2. Complete full monthly balance sheet reconciliations, using linked excel templates
3. Complete Gross Profit monthly reconciliation between the ERP system and management reporting data
4. Collect, Analyse, and summarise, using excel, overhead & margin variances to Financial Reporting Manager & internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare annual overhead budget information.
6. Prepare relevant annual external Audit schedules.
Skills and qualifications:
7. Part qualified ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by experience
8. Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
9. Advanced Excel user (complex formulae)
10. Experience ERP software user
11. Strong diligence and confidentiality
