As In-House Service Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
SAP & Logistics Process
1. Daily execution in SAP of goods receipt, put-away, transfer postings, picking, packing, goods issue, returns, consignment, stock transport orders and service notifications.
2. Oversee end-to-end logistics processes (order-to-ship, repair loop, reverse logistics) ensuring data accuracy and full traceability.
Warehouse Operations
3. Oversee all inbound and outbound flows; ensure correct packing, labelling and documentation so goods arrive undamaged and compliant.
4. Sustain 5S and housekeeping standards across warehouse, stores and workshop areas.
5. Ensure adequate stocks of packing materials and consumables.
6. Arrange collection/dispatch to customer sites and field engineers via preferred logistics partners; optimize cost and lead time.
7. Any additional duties required for the efficient operation of the warehouse and service areas as requested by the Service Manager.
Inventory Management & Internal Controls
8. Maintain >98% inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting, reconciliation and root-cause elimination of variances.
9. Plan and execute annual stock take with Service Manager; prepare auditable evidence and SOX-compliant controls where applicable.
10. Record and resolve issues with damaged goods or deliveries; raise claims with suppliers/carriers as required.
In-house Service & Customer Support
11. Booking in of customer pumps/equipment and parts deliveries in SAP following defined processes; allocate materials to the correct service orders/jobs.
12. Package pumps/materials for shipment to engineers and customers ensuring protection in transit and accurate documentation.
13. Maintain a clean, tidy and Health & Safety compliant workshop environment to facilitate in-house repair workflows and turnaround time.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
14. Strong knowledge of end-to-end logistics processes, inventory control, and master data governance.
15. Forklift drivers licence and experience of driving in a racked warehouse environment.
16. Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
17. Familiarity with data visualisation (eg Power BI) is a plus
18. Excellent problem solving, prioritisation and stakeholder communication skills.
