Permanent / Full Time The Multi Skilled Building Fabric Engineer will: Work as part of the Graham Facilities Management Team, playing a key role in planning and completing a range of works, mainly responsible for planned, reactive, and remedial repairs as directed by the Graham Helpdesk on fire door systems assets and fire compartmentation. Plan and complete a range of works associated with joinery, tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring, etc., related to building fabric systems or minor building fabric repairs, depending on experience. Provide exceptional maintenance services to high-profile clients, ensuring high-quality standards in all areas of performance. Use your initiative to solve technical problems related to reactive maintenance, including sourcing parts and seeking manufacturer support. Provide detailed reports of works carried out to keep clients informed. Complete all works within timescales and standards, complying with regulations and specifications. Follow reporting procedures, including logs and control measures to minimize risks. Utilize PDAs or electronic devices for work completion. Liaise with the Helpdesk for efficient response to all works, working independently or as part of a team. Adhere to health and safety standards, including risk assessments for each task. Interact professionally with clients daily, representing the company courteously. Provide call-out response across contracts. About You Essential Criteria A relevant qualification in your trade to C&G or NVQ L2 or L3 FDIS or equivalent Fire door qualification Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, especially reactive and remedial tasks Broad knowledge of building systems related to reactive tasks, including fabric, carpentry, wet trades, plumbing, and groundworks Full UK Driver’s License Desirable Criteria Fire Door Inspection Course or similar certification Experience with SFG20 Fire Compartmentation experience IOSH – Working Safely or CSCS Card Proficiency with PDA use Asbestos awareness training (UKATA) CSR/CSCS H&S qualification Note: A disclosure may be requested for security clearance; a criminal record may not be a barrier.
