Job Description:
Our client is an international freight forwarding company providing logistical solutions including 3PL, sea, road, and air freight. Due to global growth, they are seeking to hire a Freight Road Customer Service Agent for their team in Essex.
The role of the Road Freight Customer Service Agent includes:
* Serving as the primary contact for customers daily
* Managing orders and data entry into the CARGOLINK system with accuracy
* Coordinating collections with the UK distribution department and international export planners
* Directing the Customs team to issue export declarations
* Handling administrative tasks such as queries and POD requests
* Providing delivery status updates to customers upon request
* Communicating with DSV offices across Europe
Requirements:
* Experience in customer service
* Basic knowledge of transport (preferred but not required)
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Attention to detail and efficiency
* Strong administrative skills
We are interested in candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar role, possessing the right skills and a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £26,000, depending on skills and experience, along with a benefits package.
