Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to join our team to teach A Level Biology and Level 3 Medical Science. Responsibilities
* Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
* Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
* Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
* Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.
Qualifications
* An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach A Level Biology and Level 3 Medical Science. The ideal candidate should possess a suitable Biology degree, have successful experience of teaching A Level Biology in a post-16 setting. This is a superb opportunity for a first class applicant to join an established department and work in a College with an excellent reputation for A Level delivery. Possess an undergraduate degree in Biology or equivalent subject.
* Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
* Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching in a post-16 setting.
* A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
